HEAT (Higher Education Area Transit) is a new college and university transit service serving Greensboro residents and qualified students of six area colleges and universities.
Made possible by federal and state grants and the financial support of our six (6) university and college partners, HEAT (Higher Education Area Transit) is providing enhanced and expanded transportation services to the entire Greensboro community. The specific schools located along the HEAT routes include: Bennett College; Elon University School of Law; Greensboro College; Guilford College; Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC Jamestown and Greensboro campuses); North Carolina A&T State University; and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
Contact the UNCG FirstCard Center if you are a UNCG student and you are having trouble accessing the HEAT busses or a GTA bus with your UNCG FirstCard.
UNCG HEAT Route #73 is available to faculty and staff at no charge with a HEAT
Access Cards, which are available at the Parking Operations Office. Faculty and
staff may use other HEAT routes, but must pay the fare.
