Spartan Chariot Campus Loop Shuttle Service

The purpose of the Spartan Chariot campus loop shuttle program is to enhance campus safety while minimizing traffic congestion. Routes and schedules have been developed in response to student feedback. If you have suggestions or comments, please email parking@uncg.edu or call (336) 334-5681.

To request a safety escort, please call the Student Safety Patrol unit of the UNCG Police Department at (336) 334-5963.

TIPS FOR RIDERS
The weekday express service stops at 8 designated locations to facilitate efficient passage between classroom buildings and student service facilities.
• Stops are serviced at 30 minute intervals 7:30am-9am, Monday-Friday.
• Stops are serviced at 15 minute intervals 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

The evening safety shuttle stops at 19 designated locations to facilitate passage between parking lots and residence halls.
• Stops are serviced at 15 minute intervals 5:30pm-11pm, Sunday-Thursday. Stops are serviced at 30 minute intervals all other times.

• Bus #2 and bus #13 are equipped with a wheelchair lift.
• Most stops are near emergency phones which connect directly to the police. Please be aware of your surroundings at all times. If you see anyone suspicious or if you feel unsafe at any time, go to the nearest phone to call the police. If you are using a cell phone, call (336) 334-4444.
• At night, wait in your vehicle until you see the bus, then flash your lights to get the driver’s attention before walking to the designated bus stop.
