Summer Permits

2012-2013 parking permits are valid through August 1, 2013 so if you currently own a valid UNCG parking permit then you will not need to purchase a separate summer session permit.

Summer regulations become effective May 13, 2013.

"E", "DE", "KE", "ME", "LB", "EB", and "RA" permit holders may park on campus in designated spaces:

  • "E", "KE", "ME" and "DE" permit holders may park in lots designated for "C" permits.
  • "LB" and "EB" permit holders may park in lots designated for "B" permits.
  • "RA" permit holders may park in lots designated for "A" permits.

"K", "M", and "W" deck permit holders may park in lots designated for "C", and "E" permits. "KB", "MB", and "WB" deck permit holders may park in lots designated for "B" permits.

Please remember the 3PM time restriction in the lots listed below is enforced at all times, including summer.

  • Lot 6 - Sink Building
  • Lot 13 - Administration Drive
  • Lot 26A - Gray Drive

Summer Permit Options:

If you do not currently own a valid UNCG parking permit, you will need to purchase a permit for use during summer (May 13 - August 13):

Designated Surface Parking Lots

$32 per session / half summer (May 13 - June 18) or (June 19 - August 13)
$64 for the entire summer (May 13 - August 13)

Oakland Avenue Parking Deck or McIver Street Parking Deck*

$53 per session / half summer (May 13 - June 18) or (June 19 - August 13)
$106 for the entire summer (May 13 - August 13)

*Summer permits are not available for the Walker Avenue Parking Deck.

Summer parking permit registration begins May 6. Permits are issued in the parking office adjacent to the Walker Avenue Deck. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm.

Please bring with you the following information: vehicle license tag number, insurance carrier, and insurance policy number. If your vehicle is registered in the state of North Carolina, all this information is listed on your vehicle registration card.

Accepted forms of payment: student account, cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa.
