Visitor parking is available in one of three campus parking decks on a space available basis. Up to 30 minutes is complimentary. Pay-by-hour rates are $2 for the first hour, $1 each additional hour, up to $10 maximum daily per entry.

Oakland Avenue Parking Deck is visible from Spring Garden Street behind Yum Yum Ice Cream. The deck is accessible from Kenilworth Street and Oakland Ave. Oakland Deck is on the south side of campus near the Mossman administration building, Human Resources, the Alumni House, the Elliott University Center, and several academic classroom buildings. GPS address: 711 Kenilworth St. or 620 Forest St.

McIver Street Parking Deck is on the north side of campus near the School of Music and Sullivan Science buildings as well as several residence halls. GPS address: 110 McIver Street.

Walker Avenue Parking Deck is on the west side of campus between the baseball stadium and the Elliott University Center. The deck is accessible from Walker Avenue, Stirling Street, and Theta Street. GPS address: 1361 Walker Avenue, 506 Stirling Street, or 1362 Theta Street.

Meters are for short term parking only and are strictly enforced at all times – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Metered parking is 25 cents per 15 minutes. Meters near academic and administrative buildings are limited to 2 hours max. Meters near residential buildings are limited to 30 minutes max.

Parking is complimentary in lot 7 bordered by Tate St., Highland Ave., and Oakland Ave during evening hours; permit not required 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM. However, handicap accessible spaces, metered spaces, and reserved spaces are strictly enforced at all times. Do not park anytime in “A” only lots.

Parking is complimentary in lots designated for A/B/C and VB permits on weekends; permit not required 5:00 PM Friday through midnight Sunday. Also, McIver St. Parking Deck is complimentary up to 90 minutes on weekends; noon Friday through midnight Sunday. Handicap accessible spaces, metered spaces, and reserved spaces are strictly enforced at all times 24/7.

Athletics
Please park in the Walker Ave. Parking Deck for home athletic events. Parking may also be available in lot 9 near the baseball stadium. For men’s basketball games at the Greensboro Coliseum, please park at the Coliseum.

UNCG Auditorium, Taylor Theatre, and Brown Theatre
Parking is complimentary in lot 7 bordered by Tate St., Highland Ave., and Oakland Ave. during evening and weekend performances; permit not required 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM weeknights as well as 5:00 PM Friday through midnight Sunday. Pay-by-hour deck parking may be available during weekday matinee performances. Handicap accessible spaces, metered spaces, and reserved spaces are strictly enforced at all times.

Music and Dance
Please park in the McIver Street Parking Deck during performances in the music building. Please park in the Walker Ave. Parking Deck during performances in the Coleman dance studio.

Weatherspoon Art Museum
Parking spaces reserved for museum visitors are located in lot 7 North directly behind the Weatherspoon. Gallery permits will be provided at the Weatherspoon front desk.

Move-In
Special driving and parking instructions are recommended during residential student move-in at the beginning of fall semester. For more information about residential student move-in, please visit hrl.uncg.edu.

Complimentary parking for buses and other large vehicles is limited so please contact the UNCG Parking Operations & Campus Access Management office to coordinate parking arrangements.
