When visiting UNC Greensboro, please be aware of these clearance heights for oversized vehicles:
- ❖ Josephine Boyd Street Bridge: 11′ 9″ clearance
- ❖ Chapman Street Bridge: 12′ 7″ clearance
- ❖ Fulton Street Bridge: 14′ 9″ clearance
- ❖ Tate Street Bridge: 11′ 11″ clearance
Parking Deck Clearance
Parking on campus also has clearance restrictions. Please review the following parking deck clearances:
Walker Deck – Lowest clearance: 7′ 4″
- ❖ Two entry lanes from Walker Ave (ground floor): 8′ 10″
- ❖ Two entry lanes from Theta St. (ground floor): 8′ 10″
- ❖ Ground floor ramp from level 1 to level 2: 7′ 4″
- ❖ Entry lane from Stirling St. (level 3 entry): 7′ 4″
McIver Deck – Lowest clearance: 6′ 8″
- ❖ Entry lane from McIver St. (lane 3): 9′ 0″
- ❖ North entry (near Music Building): 6′ 8″
- ❖ Internal ramp clearance: 6′ 8″
Oakland Deck – Lowest clearance: 8′ 0″
- ❖ Two entry lanes from Kenilworth St. (ground floor): 9′ 0″
- ❖ Two entry lanes from Oakland St. (level 2 entry): 8′ 0″
- ❖ Internal ramp clearance: 8′ 0″
Spring Garden Deck – Lowest clearance: 6’5″
- ❖ Entry from Jefferson St (ground floor): 9′ 0″
- ❖ Internal traffic lane: 8′ 0″
- ❖ Internal ramp clearance: 6′ 5″
