SUMMER SCHOOL PERMITS

Summer School Permit Information




Permits are valid for one year, and expire on August 1 of the specified permit year. Current permit holders do not need to purchase a separate summer session permit. Summer regulations become effective May 4th, 2020.

Faculty/Staff Options



  • “A” Permits
    Valid in “A” Spaces

  • “RA” Permits
    Valid for 915 Northridge St. and “VB” Spaces

  • “KA”, “MA”, and “WA”
    Valid in “C” Spaces

Resident Options



  • “B”, “EB”, and “VB”
    Valid in “B” and “VB” Spaces (including Spartan Village in summer only)

  • “KB”, “MB”, “SGB”, and “WB”
    Valid in “B” and “VB” Spaces (including Spartan Village)

Commuter Options



  • “C”, “KC”, “MC”, and “WC”
    Valid in “C” Spaces

  • “E”, “KE”, “ME”, and “WE”
    Valid in “C” Spaces

Summer Permit Options



If you do not currently own a valid UNCG parking permit, you will need to purchase a permit for use during summer (May 13 – August 9):

  • Designated Surface Parking Lots – $32 per session/half-summer, $64 for the entire summer
  • Oakland Avenue Parking Deck or McIver Street Parking Deck – $53 per session/half-summer, $106 for the entire summer
  • Walker Avenue Parking Deck – Summer permits not available

1st session and entire summer parking permit registration begins May 4th. 2nd session summer parking permit registration begins June 11th. Permits are issued in the parking office adjacent to the Walker Avenue Deck. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.


Please bring with you the following information: vehicle license tag number, insurance carrier, and insurance policy number. If your vehicle is registered in the state of North Carolina, all of this information is listed on your vehicle registration card. Accepted forms of payment: student account, cash, check, MasterCard, or Visa.
